We’re delighted to welcome the 2019 winner of the Andrew Wolf Chamber Music Award, pianist Orion Weiss, one of the most sought-after soloists of his generation, also known for his affinity and enthusiasm for chamber music. Orion will perform a riveting program of Bach, Mozart and Fauré with esteemed Bay Chamber veteran and friend, violinist Geoff Nuttall, who The New York Times described as "intensely dynamic" with "stunning technique and volatility," acclaimed violist Matthew Lipman, recognized as one of the world’s leading young instrumentalists and also hailed by NY Times for his "rich tone and elegant phrasing" and dynamic cellist Arlen Hlusko, a graduate of the Curtis Institute who was recently awarded a Grammy for her work with The Crossing, and has collaborated with members of the Guarneri, Orion, Cleveland, and Tokyo String Quartets, among others.
