Holiday on the Harbor

 

Rockport's annual Holiday on the Harbor takes place Saturday, December 10 throughout the village of Rockport.

 

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:

Saturday, December 10
Noon - 5pm Wine Tasting at Cellardoor Winery

1 - 3pm Barnswallow Books holiday activities

2 - 5pm Wine tasting at RAYR - the wine shop 

2 - 7pm Ralston Gallery - Arctic Images slideshow (ongoing)

3pm Bay Chamber Concerts presents A Broadway Christmas @ Rockport Opera House

Tickets are available on the Bay Chamber website (buy tickets online) or by calling 236-2823. Tickets are also available at the door. Adults $30, Under age 25 $10. www.baychamberconcerts.org.

The show features four Broadway stars plus our Artistic Director, Manuel Bagorro, two Bay Chamber Music School faculty members and a small choir made up of local community members and students at our music school. They will perform traditional carols plus Broadway favorites. It’s about 1 hour and 15 minutes long.

3:30 - 6:30pm Horse-drawn Carriage Rides (board at former RES* site)

4 - 6pm Photos with Santa, fiddlers, art activities

4 - 6pm Happy Hour at 18 Central and drink specials at Nina June

5 - 6pm Marine Park - Tree lighting, firewords, Flatbread Pizza and Fox on the Run food truck

Luminaria, caroling, refreshments and more can be enjoyed throughout the day on Saturday, December 10. 

*Parking is available at the former Rockport Elementary School site, behind Union Hall and on West Street on December 10. Street parking is available on December 11 for Down East Singers.
