Directed by David Troup and featuring Ryan Jackson and River Lombardi, the two-character, single-act play will be performed at the Rockport Opera House, located at 6 Central Street, in Rockport, Maine.
The dates and times are Saturday, April 8, Sunday, April 9, Friday, April 14, Saturday, April 15, Saturday, April 22 and Sunday, April 23, with Sunday performances at 2 p.m. and all others at 7 p.m. Please note the Friday/Saturday performances in the middle weekend.
Scott Erb, political science professor from University of Maine Farmington, will speak after the April 9th Sunday performance on the historical background that led to Matt's fleeing Europe as a refugee to seek asylum in the U.S. Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose.
Tickets for Talley’s Folly are $20 for adults and $10 for students and may be purchased at Rock City Cafe, Left Bank Books and Zoots Coffee, or visiting www.everymanrep.org/box-office.
